What sets KD Studio apart from other invitation sites?
Here at KD Studio you get the opportunity to work directly with the artist who is designing your invitation and/or other product. Our designs are completely customizable including color choices, embellishments, backings and more! Everything is made to order. We can create anything you’d like, and if we can’t we will help you find it. You will get honest advice and real tips from someone in this business because she loves to design. We care about each client and appreciate the opportunity to be a part of your event! (No matter how large or small a part that may be!)
When you say “embellishments” what does that mean?
Embellishments are anything extra we put on the product to add to the visual appeal. It could be a monogram circle, a multiple layer, satin or organza ribbon, a little flower or a crystal. For example, for one event we used tiny natural starfish; for another one we matched the flowers used to a swatch of fabric! We only use high end products such as genuine Swarovski crystal because we think you deserve the best for your events.
How do I place an order, make an inquiry or get pricing?

What is the timeframe? How much lead time do I need to have?
For most products and invitations, you will need 1-2 weeks design time and 2 weeks production time. So generally 3-4 weeks before you need to send them out. Please keep in mind, we are doing this all by hand and all products are made to order. For small things like favor tags or confetti it will be quicker. It really depends on the size and complexity of the order. For wedding invitations, 6-8 weeks is a good estimate. These require a bit more work. They generally take 2-3 weeks to design and 2-3 weeks production depending on embellishments, etc. I would make sure to have ample time so you are able to make the changes you want and receive proofs, etc. Remember that wedding invitations need to be sent out 8-12 weeks before the event. Make sure you give yourself enough time with the RSVP date!
Who is your shipping carrier?
Small orders will ship USPS. Larger orders and wedding invitations ship FedEx. If you prefer to have your order shipped via FedEx, or vice versa, just let me know.
What if I don’t like the designs at first?
Tell us! We can tailor everything to your needs; make any changes you want. They can be reworked to mix and match parts of the designs you do like. We want you to be happy with your products.
